The 8th edition of Artweeks Akaretler, organized by Bilgili Holding, will take place between November 3 and 16.
Hosted by Bilgili Holding, Artweeks Akaretler will bring together Türkiye's leading galleries and artists. From November 3–16, the event will host names such as Dirimart, Pilevneli, PG Art Gallery, Anna Laudel, X-İst, MERKUR Galeri, Galeri Siyah Beyaz, Öktem Aykut, Ferda Art Platform, Martch, İyilik İçin Sanat, Galeri Nev Istanbul, Galeri Bosfor, Taksim Sanat, Doğançay Museum, Şerife Bilgili Ercantürk, Mine Sanat Galerisi, Muse Contemporary, One Arc Gallery, Gallery Kairos and Cengiz Yatağan at Akaretler Sıraevler.
The fair — held under the main sponsorship of Bilgili Holding and UBS — is organized by Bilgili Sanat and Sabiha Kurtulmuş. Talks, panels and various special programs are planned throughout the two-week event.
Toyota, IBB Kültür AŞ, Beşiktaş Municipality, Samsung, Aposto, ArtDog Istanbul, Jotun, Fiolas and Doğtaş are among the event's supporters.
Haluk Akakçe Special Exhibition
Set within historic row houses in the heart of Istanbul, Artweeks Akaretler offers more than just art. The event provides the opportunity to discover works from diverse artistic disciplines. Celebrating diversity and creativity, it brings art enthusiasts and artists together.
All exhibitions and talks during the two-week event at Akaretler Sıraevler will be free of charge.
The home and studio of the late artist Haluk Akakçe in Akaretler will be open to visitors specifically for Artweeks between November 3–16, at the wish of his wife Nevzat Beyazıt Akakçe.
