Ritz-Carlton, branded by Cesar Ritz — "the king of hoteliers and the hotelier of kings," who brought luxury hospitality to Europe — currently operates 108 hotels across 20 countries worldwide.
In recent years, Ritz-Carlton also marked a first in Türkiye by bringing Europe's first hotel-less branded residences to Istanbul. This project, developed in Türkiye by Bilgili Holding — the company of former Beşiktaş Club President Serdar Bilgili — has now received its first dedicated international award.
Last week, at the 2026 Global Residential Leadership Conference held in Santa Barbara, California — one of the most prominent tourism destinations in the United States — Bilgili's project "The Ritz-Carlton Residences Istanbul" was honored with the Special Operations Award.
